St. Louis Early Childhood Development Center (ECDC) provides a safe, loving, faith-filled environment for young children; to provide the highest quality, research-based care and education for the whole child's spiritual, emotional, mental, and physical development; to partner with and support families in a loving, faith-filled community; and to connect families with St. Louis King of France Catholic Church & School.

Aftercare: 3–6pm (depends on spots available)

St. Louis Early Childhood Development Center (ECDC) is committed to serving young children, from ages 4 months to 3 years old. The program fosters self-confidence, positive self-esteem, respect, and empathy. Children are encouraged to think, reason, question, experiment, and develop decision-making skills. They are taught how to model appropriate behavior and to express their feelings accordingly.
CertificationsECDC is licensed by the Texas Department of Protective and Regulatory Services and is accredited with the National Accreditation Commission for Early Care and Education Programs (NAC) and Texas Rising Star.
We provide high-quality care and education in a loving Catholic environment through:
- Developmentally Appropriate Activities and Guidance
- Catholic teachings included in daily activities
- Part time and Full time program
- After Care ( From 3pm to 6pm)
- Each classroom incorporates conscious discipline: A comprehensive classroom management and social-emotional program that creates a learning environment where children feel safe and loved
- High/Scope Curriculum and Portage Guide Assessment
- Developmentally appropriate hands-on and both play, and Montessori curriculum is provided each day
- Low teacher to child ratios
- All teachers receive thirty (30) hours of continuing education each year
- Ministry and outreach to children and their families

What Does ECDC Offer?
The St. Louis Infant & Toddler Program provides care and fosters the development of children 4 months through 3 years of age. Our Catholic school provides a Montessori environment. ECDC is designed to feel like an extension of home, starting first with our teachers love and care and low teacher-to-child ratio. Our program is designed to foster a relationship with God, support for our families and an environment in which children can grow in confidence and independence based on their developmental stage. As Dr. Montessori said, "play is the work of the child." ECDC provides opportunities for children's God-given light to shine.
